Prefer clear bowls? Our clear disposable bowls are made from Ingeo™, a plant-based bioplastic. Producing these bioplastic bowls results in 75 per cent fewer greenhouse gases than the conventional plastic it replaces – a much better alternative for the environment. These clear bowls can be used for cold, wet and dry products only – we do not recommend using clear bioplastic products for hot food; please use our BioBoard or BioCane bowls instead.
Our clear round bowls can do everything a plastic bowl does, but the difference is they are certified industrially compostable to Australian AS4736 and European EN13432 standards and will break down in a commercial composting facility. Use our clear bowls with lids for acai bowls, salads, poké bowls and more. Check the Compost Connect website to see if your council accepts certified compostable bioplastic bowls in the residential compost bin.
