Our Aqueous double wall BioCups are made with a water-based dispersion coating. These water-based paper cups are different to our PLA bioplastic lined cups. These Aqueous cups feature a double wall for extra comfort and protection against hot drinks like long blacks or tea.
Currently, Aqueous coated cups are only certified industrially compostable and not yet home compostable; however, our team has invested in research and development to one day make these cups suitable for home composting. This means that paired with our home compostable coffee cup lids, after finishing your delicious latte or tea, you can put your cup and lid right in your home compost bin to break down. We certainly think water-based paper cups are the future of takeaway coffee and drinks!
